When you sit down with these guys make sure you read the numbers on the contracts, if you trade in a car they showed odometer higher than it was by a thousand miles, the trade in value was suppose to be $27,000 and they put $24,500, The interest rate from the credit union was suppose to be 4.99% and was higher. The finance manager talks constantly rushing the signing of documents, make sure he lets you read all documents without interruption, blah, blah, blah, blah. Read and re-read the numbers before you sit down with the finance manager!
I’ve been a loyal customer at Bakersfield Mazda for the past four years, regularly servicing my 2021 Mazda CX-5 without any issues—until now. A few days ago, I called to request an estimate for an AC service. The employee I spoke to seemed unfamiliar with the service, and rather than transferring me to someone who could assist, he placed me on hold and then disconnected the call. I followed up and requested to speak with a supervisor to address this unprofessional behavior. It’s now been 72 hours, and I have yet to receive a call back or any form of acknowledgment. This experience was disappointing and completely out of line with the level of service I’ve come to expect. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures proper training and accountability moving forward. Customers deserve respect and transparency—not to be brushed off.
Do not come here, buyers Beware they are not a legit dealership they are wannabe hustlers I got a brand new car with zero miles from them less than a year ago which comes with a 36,000 miles warranty or three yrs whichever comes first and they act like this doesn’t exist they tried to trade me for a 2022 model that smelled like smoke and had crumbs in it, when I have a 2024 model with half the miles that they financed me, they also begged for more money down, they also like to change numbers or “discount“ cars and not have to deal with the consequences later, also the finance manager with a accent yells at people and is very unprofessional, he wanted unnecessary bank information that global lending said they did not need papers that did not exist at the time, I have to go to another Mazda out of town to fix the problems that Bakersfield Mazda is running away from, save yourself the trouble and drive a little ways to get legit service.
I had a terrible experience with this dealer when trying to buy a new car (Mazda 323 Turbo Sedan) from them. Not only were they very slow in responding to my enquiries they were very rude and ghosted me, even though I had the funds (all cash) available and was ready to buy a new car from them. I do NOT recommend the sales person (Corrley) or the sales manager (Firas) who behaved very unprofessionally. They also wanted to lap on a $1599 surcharge for “Wheel locks and Nitro fill above the price listed on their web site! Bait & Switch? I ended up buying the same car I wanted from a different dealer in the area, who gave me a great deal on the new car and my trade-in. I am very happy with it.
Watch your contracts the over charged me when buying my leased mazda 3 said they would make it good on next car .then said to bad more or less no discount they stole almost 10,000 from us! by putting us off saying wait for new arrivals come back ect I just want my refund now they are shady Ps had me turn in my cars (repo )so they could sell me 3 more without financing noticing . Killed my credit in 2020 finally recovering !shady sales manager Paul was great! But moved by the time deal was up! He knew they were wrong!!!
So I made an appointment for an oil change and key duplicate. Is 2 hours worth the wait?

In least than a year my Mazda CX-5 broke down. I have it towed to Bakersfield Mazda for test and repair. After 3 days they called that my car is ready for pick-up. When I picked up the car a noticeable dent on the rear bumper was made. I call the attention of the asst. service manager to the incident. Since I live in Los Angeles and Bakersield Mazda had no body shop, a note acknowledging the damage to the rear bumper and will reimburse with their local dealer to cover charges was written an d sign. After more than a month after I submitted the estimates and my many phone calls which they promise to return which they did not, still no action. For all of my purchases of new car, I have never experience a total breakdown like the Mazda CX-5 in not even a year plus the so so Mazda Bakersfield Service makes me wonder If I will buy another Mazda again.

I waited 3 hours to get an oil change done. They give you a number to text/ call to get updates. after the first two hours I texted got no response. So unprofessional. I had an appointment there should have been no reason to wait THREE HOURS! So annoying and unprofessional in my opinion. Should have been given at least a heads up that they were busy if it was going to take so xxxx long.
